Notes: Verve Magazine Volume VIII Nos 33 & 34, included 17 Original Lithographs in colours illustrating “The Bible”. It was comprised of Old Testament scenes mainly from Genesis and Exodus. The unsigned works were included in the volume with texts in an edition of 6500. The work was a true monument to Judaism and the religious beliefs of the artist. In addition to this huge and important work there were separate editions, from which our work comes, signed and numbered from an edition of just 75.

In spurn work we see the prophet Moses holding the Tablets of the Law (Otherwise known as the 10 Commandments) given to him directly by the hand of God. In this important album Moses features 4 times.
