The book contained 14 etchings, 10 printed in colours, by a number of prominent artists which consisted of : Francis Bacon, Camille Bryen, Jorge Camacho, Robert Couturier, Sonia Delaunay, Max Ernst, Man Ray, André Masson, Sebastian Matta, Henry Moore (C.377), Arpad Szenes, Dorothea Tanning, Vladimir Vélickovic, Vieira da Silva.

Szenes and his Portuguese wife, Veira da Silva, have a Museum form their works in Lisbon.She concentrated on expressionist urban themes, while Szenes painted luminous landscapes. Their gallery (in a former 18th century silk factory) also houses temporary exhibitions featuring artists that were influential on or influenced by the two artists.
