Note: This comes from a small series Buffet made in 1989/1990 of the Russian Palaces. The Temple of Friendship is situated in the Pavlovsk Palace, an 18th century Imperial residence built by Tsar Paul I near Saint Petersburg. After his death it became the home of his widow, Maria Feodorovna. It is now a state museum and a public park.
