The prototype of this piece was an invitation to the Leo Costello show in 1963 when it had been used as an invitation.

Roy Lichtenstein's distressed Crying Girl, a blush of pinkish dots staining her neck, may be one of his earliest forays into Pop Art, but she has since become one of his signature works. It's one of Lichtenstein's most famous images."
