Size: 213 x 262 mms; (8 ½” x 10 ¼” Inches)

Note:   This work is one of fifty five original gouaches executed to accompany specifically-designed copies of the book Lou Kleplepac (ed), William Scott: Drawings (David Anderson, New York, 1975) Fifty specially-designated copies of the book and the corresponding gouaches were marked I/L to L/L and five marked H.C

The Foundation advised us that they had records and photographs of only a small number of these 55 pieces and did not know where the majority of these are located. Certainly, looking through salesroom records, they don’t seem to come up for auction.
