Ceramic in colours, 1992, Bone china with printed decoration in enamel and gilt, signed by the artist in black marker pen verso. The verso of the plate has the name of the plate, the name of the artist and a facsimile signature of the artist plus confirmation of the limited edition size and legitimizing trade marks from Wedgwood and the National Art Collectors Fund.
Edition: Our piece is numbered verso 6/50 in black marker. Presumably this was a small bespoke edition apart from the edition of 500 mentioned on the verso of the item

Note: Bone china plate, decorated with printed design in enamels and gilt. The design for the central panel and border all collaged from book illustrations.
In 1992 The National Afrt Collections Fund published a series of 6 plates designed by contemporary artists: Peter Blake, Patrick Caulfield, Patrick Heron, Bruce McClean, Eduardo Paolozzi and John Piper. The edition was sponsored by Glaxo. Each plate was published in a bespoke blue box of issue together with a pamphlet describing the entire series.
