Original Pen & ink drawing, 1951, signed by the artist.
This is made on the back of a visiting card of La Maison Rivoli, Strasbourg.
Size: 9 x 13 cms
Provenance: This was given by Picasso to Tristan Roussel, son of the Vallauris ceramicist, Marc Roussel, on the occasion of the artists 70th birthday. Marc Roussel worked at the Madoura Pottery where Picasso created his ceramics. It was run by the Ramie Family. Picasso always had a love of children and, no doubt, enjoyed the company of the little boy.
Authentication: This has a certificate of authenticity issued by Claude Picasso, the artists son.
