Original drawing, 2/X/66, coloured crayons and marker pens, Red, Black, and Green, with black ink, on board, signed upper right “Miro”, dedicated pour Suguki-Sau and dated. The dating appears to have been changed from 2/10/66 to 2/X/66.
Size: Paper size: 27 x 24 cms
Noter: The fact that the work is dedicated to a Japanese gentleman is of interest. We believe the framed, in which we bought the piece, was probably of Japanese origin.
The board on which the piece is drawn possibly is the end cover of a book. It has gilding round the entire edge. The back of the board has a mottled white on cream appearance.
Condition: Generally in good undated condition. Top right and bottom left are pieced where the piece has been probably displayed mounted on a board using drawing pins.
Authentication: The work has a certificate from ADOM, (Association pour la Défense de l'œuvre de Joan Miró) dated 22nd March 2016
