Note: Denise Colomb died at the grand old age of 102. Her illustrious photographic career involved meeting numerous well known artists such as Picasso, Calder, Chagall, Cesar and, especially, Nicolas de Stael. This photograph shows the artist Alberto Giacometti standing by the staircase in his studio, surrounded by his slim and tall figurative sculptures.
