Note: In 1948 Miro put on his first show in Galerie Maeght, Paris, and Aime Maeght became his official dealer between 1971 and 1974 Maeght had made a series of three films about the artist : “Miro Speaks”, Miro Lithograph poster” and “Miro Sculptor”. The films were unpublished until 2005 when Maeght made DVD versions together with a book . The book is entitled “Miro Speaks” and is illustrated with numerous photographs by Clovis Prevost of the artist in course of making the film. In our current inventory we have a smaller version of this work, unsigned and unnumbered, which was given out as publicity by Gallery Maeght at the time the film was made. Prevost was a very noted photographer who worked with many famous personalities including the artists Salvador Dali, Joan Miro and Alexander Calder.
