Edition: There was an edition of 500 unsigned posters. A further edition of avant les lettres posters were made in an edition of 100, signed and numbered.
Note: This vintage poster shows a portrait of Picasso’s lover, Dora Maar, in a blue hat ” (“Buste de femme au chapeau bleu”), a Picasso (cubist) oil painting from March 1944. The prototype for this is found in Zervos, Volume IV, number 348

Condition: Some staining in margins. Small paper losses top and bottom margins. Has been removed from a dry mount and marks verso. Those apart the colours are brilliant and bright and the piece is in good condition overall. It is hard to find these fragile items more than 50 years old undamaged.
